Angela is the owner and lead consultant of AAP Consulting, a boutique SIA consultancy based in Newcastle, NSW. Angela has been leading social impact assessments for over eight years. She has worked extensively throughout metro and regional NSW and the ACT, developing an informed understanding of the differing needs of metro and regional-based communities on State Significant Projects.
Angela has a strong background in community engagement, having worked in both construction comms and strategic comms for over 15 years before launching AAP Consulting. This personal project was born out of a desire to identify, understand and respond to how change, or potential change, can impact people well before the bulldozers arrive.
She has managed research activities and authored several SIA reports for industries ranging from renewables to tourism, transport to resources and everything in between. She has a thorough understanding of national and international guidelines for SIA and is driven by the fundamental principles of equitable SIA practice, including inclusivity and impartiality.
The forum is a not-for-profit event aimed at building capacity within our industry and helping Government and the private sector deliver infrastructure which achieves the best outcomes for all stakeholders.
