Marion is an experienced CEO in the not-for-profit sector and joined IAP2Australasia as CEO in late 2017. She has extensive senior management experience in the private sector and over 15 years’ experience working within collaborative models. Marion has a proven track record in strategy, achieving organisational goals, strategic partnerships, and advocacy and policy initiatives.
Marion’s past CEO roles include leading a charity delivering programmes to over 20,000 vulnerable young people to improve their health, education and well-being outcomes. By working closely with Universities and other research organisations they were able to produce an economic research report evidencing the long-term economic benefit of the programmes. Prior to that, she had the unique challenge of leading a diverse association operating in the waste, resource recovery and contaminated land sectors, through a period of legislative and policy changes with a strong focus on increasing professionalism and advocacy services.
Marion has an MBA from Henley Management College, UK where her dissertation was a strategic research project framed around stakeholder engagement and knowledge sharing principles.
Marion grew up in the Northern Territory, has been married to Kevin for almost 30 years and is enormously proud of her two adult sons.
